OnePlus Z is a highly anticipated device of 2020, the reason is that this will be the successor to OnePlus X which was released back in 2015. The OnePlus Z smartphone will bring the good old’ affordable flagship category for OnePlus devices. It was first expected to be announced along-side OnePlus 8 series, in April 2020. But if OnePlus launched the OnePlus Z device back in April, it would have been the star in the spotlight, not the other two phones.

Anyways, the good news is that the Oneplus Z has started getting certifications. Starting from GeekBench, which reveals a couple of specifications of the device and most of all the presence of a mid-ranger OnePlus!
OnePlus Z – GeekBench Listing
An OnePlus smartphone with model number AC2003 has appeared on Geekbench, which is speculated to be the OnePlus Z. According to the listing, OnePlus AC2003 comes with Snapdragon 765G SoC. The device features 12GB of RAM and runs on Android 10 OS. It scored 612 points in the Single-Core tests and 1955 points in the Multi-Core tests.
Earlier speculations were that the Z model will feature MediaTek Dimensity 1000 chip, but now we are seeing a mid-range Snapdragon SoC, which isn’t bad because the actual thing of this mid-ranger is Oxygen OS!

Expected OnePlus Z Specifications
Apart from the GeekBench listing, there are multiple leaks and rumors. To sum it all, the OnePlus mid-ranger will feature a display with a size of about 6.5 inches with a dot-hole notch as seen on Samsung flagship devices, Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. On the camera segment, we are expected to get a triple rear camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel, 16-megapixel, and a 12-megapixel sensor. Whereas, the release date is expected to be mid-summer.
